Multilink 28th Annual Report 2016-2017

On behalf of the management committee I wish to thank all of our funders for their ongoing support throughout the year, for without them we would be unable to deliver quality services to our communities as well as our clients.

Multilink Community Services brings communities and their people together to be part of this wonderful country we all call home, Australia. Considering all of the troubles in the world we are all fortunate to be in this amazing country. For this I am truly grateful.

Multilink Community Services is many things to many people, it is a sanctuary to our clients, a place where they can be heard, where they feel safe, where they and their children can be supported, emotionally and practically. It is also a place to meet others, to interact with people from many other cultures, not just their own, where they are welcomed to begin their new lives and journey together to help build a harmonious and cohesive society.

As a not for profit organisation we are also reliant on volunteers to assist many of our programs and I would like to thank them all for their on-going support throughout this, our 28th year. To all of our staff with the amazing skills they bring to this organisation, you are the reason we are held in such high regard by our clients, our funders and other organisations. Thank you, all.

Being part of Multilink Community Services’ management committee has always been a great honour for me, working with this group of dedicated people from all walks of life who bring expertise not found elsewhere. They take time out of their busy lives for the betterment of Multilink Community Services. It has been a pleasure working with you. Thank you and let’s get on with another good year.

We here at Multilink Community Services will never stop working towards a better future for all people and striving to meet the needs of the communities and clients who we support.

Regards
Joan O’Loughlin
Chairperson
