Program/ project Title: Conversational English Classes

Program/ project overview: MultiLink runs conversational English classes every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9.30am to 11.30am. These classes are run by volunteer tutors.

Primary Focus:

• To assist clients with basic conversational English skills
• To provide clients with an opportunity to build social networks with other community members.
• To assist clients to build their confidence with social interactions and English language.
• To build clients capacity with everyday life skills

Referral Criteria: For people with no English or very limited English skills. MultiLink’s English classes are a recognised as a Centrelink activity. A gold coin donation is appreciated to cover the cost of tea and coffee.
