Multicultural Childcare Brokerage

Program/ project Title: Multicultural Childcare Brokerage

Program/ project overview: This program brokers multicultural experienced childcare workers at a highly subsidized price to other community service providers.

Primary Focus: To provide a high standard of childcare to community services who are inexperienced working with children and families from culturally and linguistically diverse ethnic backgrounds. Referral Criteria: No criteria

How to Refer: If childcare workers are sort, please contact the Child, Youth and Family Service team. A minimum period of a week notice is needed in order to supply a childcare worker. Our childcare workers have several years of experience working with multicultural children and families and have current working with children suitability cards (Blue Cards).

What happens after referral: After a request has been made the following will occur:

  • A childcare worker will be allocated and they will be provided with the address, time and date of job.
  • MultiLink will then confirm with the agency when a worker has been successfully booked.
  • MultiLink will invoice the service at the end of the month.

Prices: The current price is $28.00 per hour per childcare worker. The ages and number of children needing care may vary how many childcare workers are required.
