The CLUB HOUSE is a house in the community providing a homely environment where carers can send their loved ones for up to five days of 24 hours care. The CLUB HOUSE is targeted specifically to frail aged people from a culturally and linguistically diverse background.
Staff who provide the support in the CLUB HOUSE are from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. This ensures carers of frail aged people from a non-English speaking background can feel confident their loved ones are enjoying a short break that is a pleasant place they will want to be.
Five is the maximum number of people that can stay in the HOUSE at any one time. This ensures the HOUSE retains its restful, homely feel.
Carers can be friends, neighbours or family members, who provide regular assistance to a loved one. The CLUB HOUSE is available to provide a short –term break to carers from their usual caring role.
